Project Overview
With many hundreds of thousands of families struggling with little or no income, children are at the frontline of those who are affected by this crisis.

In September many children face starting a new school year without the necessary stationery (notebooks, pens, pencils, etc.), thereby having their education for the next academic year severely compromised.

These school bags will help children start the new school year with a positive attitude to learning despite the difficult conditions they face in their lives.

Problem / Project Background
Many parents are unable to equip their children with the basic material and equipment required for school.
Consequently their children's performance in school suffers.

In many cases, interest for education decreases since they feel they are not capable of being fully prepared for school.

Therefore, Islamic Relief is implementing this project to supply children with school bags fully equipped with stationery such as notebooks, pens and pencils, sharpeners, etc., in order to reduce the suffering of the Palestinian children.

Project Activities
Purchase school bags, which will include stationary materials and distribute it for the needy pupils.

Project Goal
To assist children in order to continue their education and to create jobs for school bags' makers.

Beneficiaries
The needy pupils, school bag manufacterers.
